The Ngorongoro Crater was formed after a volcanic eruption blasted the top of a mountain once higher than Mt. Kilimanjaro. The crater is now home to many animals who take advantage of the open land and the lake in the middle. We spent the day driving through the park in our Toyota Land Cruiser with a modified roof that allowed us to enjoy the views.
